Self hire boat prices REVIEWS We were fortunate enough to be able to spend two glorious days on the lovely Jubilee, a brand new boat designed and built by Peter Le Marchant Trust with full accessibility and for private hire. I can honestly say it was the best mini break I have experienced. The fantastic facilities of the boat (wow that bathroom is stunning) combined with the peaceful tranquillity of the journey and the fun and friendliness at locks, has made the experience wonderfully relaxing. My deck mate skills are still in their infancy and I look forward to learning more and experiencing it all again one day. We had a great weekend on Jubilee. Kev and the team made us feel very welcome and showed us the ropes with friendly instruction. We were also given some helpful tips on the route and what to watch out for. The boat itself is superb and has all you need, from the well equipped kitchen to comfy beds and a good bathroom. We travelled north and the route is beautiful and very different from other canal trips we have taken, being largely on the river. We enjoyed the local wildlife including kingfishers, Egrets and maybe an otter (or a mink)! 2024 Hire Rates Month Hire rate per week (£) March 900 April 900 May 900 June 1080 July 1460 August 1460 September – First Two Weeks 1460 September – Second Two Weeks 1080 October 900 November 900 Short Break/Weekend Hire – Based on 3 Nights Hire Month Hire Rate (£) March 575 April 575 May 575 June 690 July 930 August 930 September – First Two Weeks 930 September – Second Two Weeks 690 October 575 November 575 Please contact the office for hire rates over December to February.
