"Serenade"

Designed and equipped to take all groups of disabled and/or seriously ill people, including those in wheelchairs,and their carers, on 3/4 night holidays; she sleeps a total of 10 people plus the Skipper. We make a nominal charge per head to ensure that the trips are accessible to as many groups as possible - please see the Booking Form for details. She has :=

  1. Very large toilet and shower areas, allowing room for carers and for total privacy.
  2. Hydraulic lift for easy access to forward deck and ramps for easy boarding.
  3. Medical equipment, including an extensive First Aid case, inflatable splints and resuscitation equipment. There is a telephone for emergencies
  4. A galley, fully equipped with cooker, large fridge, sink unit, small freezer, microwave, cupboards and all necessary utensils, cutlery crockery etc.
  5. Intercom system, radio cassette and CD player.
  6. Sliding hatches in the roof for sunny days. The foredeck is large and easily accessible to disabled people in wheelchairs. All windows are low-level for easy viewing.
  7. The cabin floor is fully carpeted to provide a non-slip and warm surface, with radiators throughout for central heating when required.
  8. Ten beds of standard width and length are provided, four of which are top bunks. Please note that some disabled adults may find it difficult to use the top bunks. All beds have individual reading lights and curtains for privacy.
  9. Bedding is provided for 10 people and consists of mattress-cover, under-blanket ("fleecey"), bottom sheet, continental quilt and cover, two pillows and pillowcases. Everyone must bring their own towels and any extra bedding (e.g. draw sheets, rubber sheets and extra blankets) if required.
  10. Life-jackets are provided for all passengers
