Relax! Enjoy a 2½ hour guided sewing session about our boat. Learn how to embroider using a hoop whilst taking in the picturesque views along the canal. All materials supplies, including hoop, thread and materials. Various designs - choose on the day. Only £17 per person.
Photography Along the Waterways 2024

Take inspiration from the views along the canal and enjoy a 2½ hour photography workshop aboard our boat. Aimed at beginners and for those wishing to expand their skills. Learn about composition. Suitable for smartphones and cameras. Open to individuals and small groups. Only £12 per person.

Youth Wellbeing Week - Wednesday 26th July

The third day of our Youth Wellbeing week was packed today! We had plenty of Lego builders and craft creativity with fully booked canal boat trips and pedalos. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Tomorrow we have more crafts and pedalos, bird box and fairy door building, as well as a bouncy castle for the day.
Youth Wellbeing Week - Tuesday 25th July

Day 2 of our Youth Wellbeing Week was a great success. We had plenty of young people trying out our climbing wall, crafts and watercolour sessions. Our thanks to Beaumanor Hall and Active Charnwood for their participation. Tomorrow we have pedalos, Lego building, painting, crafts and canal boat trips - please do come down and join in.
Youth Wellbeing Week - Monday 24th July

We commenced our Youth Wellbeing Week, today. Thank you to everyone who joined in the archery, canal boat trips and crafts. We saw some wonderfully creative pebble painting, gratitude jars and journals. Tomorrow, we've got watercolour art, a climbing wall, as well as on-base crafts. Youth Wellbeing Week 24th July - 27th July 2023

Join our Trust for a range of FREE drop in wellbeing sessions during the Summer holidays. Week runs from Monday 24th July to Thursday 27th July. Come along with an adult and enjoy boats trips, archery, painting, lego building and loads more.

Let's Fish! - June 3rd, August 5th, Sept 9th

We've teamed up with the Canals & River's Trust again and hosting three of their award-winning Let's Fish! events. If you've ever wanted to learn to fish, be guided by our team of professionally qualified and licensed angling coaches. All bait, equipment, permits and licence are provided. All you need to do is book in and turn up on time on the day.
Pirate Week Volunteers Needed - 14th to 19th August!

Would you like to volunteer with us at the trust helping with the Pirates trips during August? We are looking for volunteers from age 14 onwards up to age 25 to help with landside activities such as walk the plank, fishing from the pool and face painting as well as sponge throwing in the stocks! We will reward you with drinks, biscuits and a certificate to say you have volunteered for us.
Full Crew Training - 31st July to 3rd August

Fantastic FREE opportunity! Learn to become a fully trained crew member at out Trust! In 4 days you will learn all aspects of crewing including water and fire safety, hospitality, have a go at driving the boat and working as a team. Places are limited. You must be able to attend all 4 days to qualify. Open to ages 15-25

Day Trips

We have two day trip boats, Symphony and Serenade, which travel from our base in Loughborough to Zouch or Mountsorrel. Aimed at friendship groups and organisations and running from 10am to 3pm from March to October.
