Plan your trip Our boats Jubilee - Available for 2024 bookings! Holidays on Jubilee We have three accessible canal boats that cater for holidays and day trips. In 2022 we added our brand new self-hire 60ft narrowboat, Jubilee to the Peter Le Marchant fleet. Jubilee includes a number of accessible features making her an inclusive and comfortable environment for many. Wheelchair friendly with a stern lift, she is designed and equipped to take up to 6 passengers, making her an ideal choice for families and groups wanting privacy and the freedom to gently meander the canals at their own pace. If you wish to check the suitability of Jubilee for your group prior to booking, please speak to a member of our team. We are also happy for you to arrange a visit to the base for you to assess if she is appropriate for your needs. Sleeping Arrangements Sleeps up to 6. One main fixed bedroom located at the bow. The seating area in the saloon can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required as well as a double bed settee Freshly laundered bedding for each crew member. Welcome Pack Includes: 1 bottle of washing up liquid, 1 dish cloth, 1 tea towel, 1 floor cloth, toilet roll & bin liner. Tea coffee and milk along with Helmsman's waterproofs & umbrella. Life jackets and buoyancy aids provided. Bathroom One open plan bathroom complete with hand basin, electrically operated flush toilet which can be moved to make access easier, and shower. Includes a 240v shaver socket. Kitchen Fully equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, refrigerator, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. Microwave, cafetiere. Saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery etc included. On Board Features 42-inch smart tv, hairdryer. Hire Times Hires start and finish on Friday apart from Christmas and New Year. Collection time is 2pm (latest arrival 3pm) and your boat must be returned and vacated by 9am (for 9.30am vacation) on your last day of hire. If a boat is returned late or unclean, it will cause a delay for the next hirer. In this event, we reserve the right to charge additional costs. REVIEWS We were fortunate enough to be able to spend two glorious days on the lovely Jubilee, a brand new boat designed and built by Peter Le Marchant Trust with full accessibility and for private hire. I can honestly say it was the best mini break I have experienced. The fantastic facilities of the boat (wow that bathroom is stunning) combined with the peaceful tranquillity of the journey and the fun and friendliness at locks, has made the experience wonderfully relaxing. My deck mate skills are still in their infancy and I look forward to learning more and experiencing it all again one day. We had a great weekend on Jubilee. Kev and the team made us feel very welcome and showed us the ropes with friendly instruction. We were also given some helpful tips on the route and what to watch out for. The boat itself is superb and has all you need, from the well equipped kitchen to comfy beds and a good bathroom. We travelled north and the route is beautiful and very different from other canal trips we have taken, being largely on the river.
