What Our Visitors Say

It means the world to us that the experience you receive when you visit our Trust is a good one and your feedback is invaluable. If you have any comments you'd like to make regarding our services, please contact us.

Leonardo Passos Da Veiga, Quorn Hall School - Youth Project, February 2023

Peter Le Marchant Trust has been a weekly boost of happiness and peace for C. The impact the Trust has on its volunteers is really appreciated. The kindness and patience of the staff really encourages their volunteers to continue working and giving their best. C has developed a little bit more every week with the support from the staff. Developing social, emotional and life skills. C was a bit unsure about his work experience when proposed with the idea, but completely changed his mind after his interview. C has taken part in a lot of activities that were out of his comfort zone, this has enabled him to build his levels of confidence and being proud of himself. What amazes me the most about Peter Le Marchant Trust is the impact they have on their local community and environment. It is clear that caring for the canal and wildlife is a mission for them. A mission that has been successfully achieved.

Lynne About Loughborough - Wellbeing Trip, June 2022

I never thought I’d qualify to be one of those people travelling on one of the Trust’s boats – Symphony, Sonata, Serenade etc. – until the pandemic of 2020 changed this, and the Trust opened up their trips to anyone. Perhaps it was recognised that a relaxing trip along the canal, seeing and hearing the wildlife, chatting to other travellers, while drinking cups of tea and eating a sandwich, could be of benefit to everyone.

F W - Google Review - Day Trip, Summer 2022

Absolutely wonderful. I attended a boat trip with some residents from my work and they all had the most amazing time. Thank you to all the staff for making it a special day. The residents didn't stop talking about it for the rest of the day. Hope to see you all again soon.

J M - Google Review - Autumn Seasonal Trip

Did the 2.5 hr boat tour along the canal. Lots of things to see and kids were given colour sheets, word search and craft activities. Staff were very lovely and accommodating!

On-Board Feedback Forms - All Trips

Superb staff as always. Despite the rain, the staff were continually friendly and helpful.  Here's to next year.
