We recently had the pleasure of hosting a team from @pwc_uk for an Employee Volunteering Day at Peter Le Marchant Trust. Woodthorpe Lodge Care Home enjoy their Wellbeing Trip

Woodthorpe Lodge Care Home in Loughborough had a lovely Wellbeing trip on our canal boat Serenade on Monday the 1st of July. The passengers kindly presented our hard working volunteer crew with a gift set. Art Along the Waterways - 13th May 2024

Take inspiration from the views along the canal and enjoy a 2½ hour watercolour art workshop aboard our boat. Suitable for absolute beginners and for those refreshing their skills. All materials supplied - take your finished masterpiece home at the end of the session. Refreshments included. Only £22 per person.
Foraging Along the Waterways -11th April 2024

Join us for a relaxing boat trip, with a foraging stop off along the canalside with a community herbalist and forager. Learn to identify wild edible plants and their medicinal virtues. On the return, enjoy a herbal tea tasting aboard our canal boat, and exchange some recipes on how to prepare some of the plants foraged.

Wellbeing Community Trips 2024

Relax, take some time out and enjoy the beautiful scenery along our local waterways. We're delighted to announce that our Community Wellbeing trips are back! We're offering 2½ hour journeys, as well at our 4-hour trips, These trips are open to individuals and small groups.

Day trips are available from March until the end of October, and run 7 days a week on our fully accessible broad beam boats, Symphony or Serenade. Prices are £16 per person, with a minimum hire fee of £224.
