In 2020, we received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to build on our youth work, and develop a young people’s hub at our base in Loughborough.

Since 2020, over 1,000 young people have taken part in a diverse range of water-based educational, environmental and heritage projects, gaining new experiences, learning new skills, and having fun.

A large majority of these young people come from disadvantaged communities, or NEET – those who are ‘not in education, employment or training. They gain greater confidence, self-belief, and important collaboration skills.

We enjoy teaming up with other local organisations and groups and have another action-packed schedule of events throughout 2024.

Keep an eye out for exciting updates over the coming months, along with ways you can become involved. You can also sign up here to find out more.

We’ve received exceptional feedback from those we collaborate with, such as the Prince’s Trust, and the young people themselves. Here are a just a few of those stories
