Join us for a free session out on the canoes with a fully qualified instructor to learn how to use a canoe and be safe on the water. All equipment provided.

You will need a full change of clothes (just in case!) and a packed lunch for the day.

We work in close partnership with a number of organisations to deliver projects jointly, or provide them with complete organised boat trips. We are always open to forging new partnerships. We offer workplace wellbeing, volunteering opportunities, CPR training and more. These opportunities can help your team meet their personal and professional goals.

Introduction to Crewing 3rd and 4th April 2024 - 10am - 3pm

Join us for a free 2 day course in understanding just what it takes to be a volunteer crew member with us in these introduction sessions. We will be going out on the water, talking about water and fire safety and teaching you the basics of customer care. Please contact Angie on [email protected] to book a place, places are limited.

Youth Wellbeing Week - Wednesday 26th July

The third day of our Youth Wellbeing week was packed today! We had plenty of Lego builders and craft creativity with fully booked canal boat trips and pedalos. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Tomorrow we have more crafts and pedalos, bird box and fairy door building, as well as a bouncy castle for the day.
Youth Wellbeing Week - Tuesday 25th July

Day 2 of our Youth Wellbeing Week was a great success. We had plenty of young people trying out our climbing wall, crafts and watercolour sessions. Our thanks to Beaumanor Hall and Active Charnwood for their participation. Tomorrow we have pedalos, Lego building, painting, crafts and canal boat trips - please do come down and join in.
Youth Wellbeing Week - Monday 24th July

We commenced our Youth Wellbeing Week, today. Thank you to everyone who joined in the archery, canal boat trips and crafts. We saw some wonderfully creative pebble painting, gratitude jars and journals. Tomorrow, we've got watercolour art, a climbing wall, as well as on-base crafts. Just pop along and join in - we look forward to welcoming you!
Youth Wellbeing Week 24th July - 27th July 2023

Join our Trust for a range of FREE drop in wellbeing sessions during the Summer holidays. Week runs from Monday 24th July to Thursday 27th July. Come along with an adult and enjoy boats trips, archery, painting, lego building and loads more.
Stand Up Paddle Boarding - July 8th 2023

Aged 12-25? Why not join us for free Stand Up Paddle Boarding at our base in Loughborough? Fully qualified coach. Places are limited. Morning and afternoon session available. Pre-booking essential. Delivered in partnership with Canal & River Trust.
Let's Fish! - June 3rd, August 5th, Sept 9th

We've teamed up with the Canals & River's Trust again and hosting three of their award-winning Let's Fish! events. If you've ever wanted to learn to fish, be guided by our team of professionally qualified and licensed angling coaches. All bait, equipment, permits and licence are provided. All you need to do is book in and turn up on time on the day.
Pirate Week Volunteers Needed - 14th to 19th August!

Would you like to volunteer with us at the trust helping with the Pirates trips during August? We are looking for volunteers from age 14 onwards up to age 25 to help with landside activities such as walk the plank, fishing from the pool and face painting as well as sponge throwing in the stocks! We will reward you with drinks, biscuits and a certificate to say you have volunteered for us.

Day trips are available from March until the end of October, and run 7 days a week on our fully accessible broad beam boats, Symphony or Serenade. Prices are £16 per person, with a minimum hire fee of £224.

Self-hire holiday boat

Jubilee is ideal for families and groups wanting the freedom to meander along the canals at their own pace. It is available for holidays throughout the year.

Pirate Boat Trips - August 2022 - SOLD OUT!
