About the opportunity

We are looking for a volunteer to help carry out a range of general administrative functions at our office/base in Loughborough.

 

Key Tasks will involve

  • answering telephones, taking messages and dealing with general enquiries.
  • entering and updating our key databases and spreadsheets.
  • general administrative duties including photocopying, mailing and filing.

  

Time Commitment

The time you can give us is very much appreciated, in the case of this role we are looking for volunteers that can offer four hours plus a week, between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

 

Skills/attributes required

We are looking for someone with experience in basic administration and good communication skills, as well as the following:

  • a friendly outgoing personality;
  • organisational skills; 
  • good IT competence with some experience of computer packages including databases and spreadsheets, Word, Outlook, Excel etc;
  • good Customer service skills and telephone skills;
  • good command of written & spoken English; and
  • ability to work within the guidelines and practices of the Peter Le Marchant Trust.

 

Training & Support

Training will be provided and we will give you all the information required to enjoy and succeed in your volunteering role.
