In 2020, we received a four year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund to develop a Young People’s Hub at the base in Beeches Road, Loughborough. Young volunteers are able to take part in a range of water-based educational, environmental and heritage projects, gaining new experiences, learning new skills and having fun. While enjoyable, the young people also gain greater confidence, self-belief and important collaboration skills.
Please see below some of our previous activities, courses and events held for young people throughout this project.
